
Darren graduated from University of New England. While at uni
he was part of an acappella group, who participated in the
Pan Pacific Choral Festival in Hawaii where they received a
silver medal and then went on to tour throughout California
and Mexico.
Darren has co-written and performed many cabaret shows including
Laughing Matters with Lyn Shakespeare (Glen Street Theatre),
Old Friends (Showtune Productions) Welcome Aboard (Side on
Café), On The Air (Brown Fox productions), Threes Company
(Glen Street Theatre), Working a Musical (Pilgrim Theatre),
Virtual Unreality (Tilbury, Parramatta Riverside & Glen
Street Theatres), Ferrier in the Round (Co-written & performed
with Noel Ferrier) and Nowadays (with David Campbell). In 1999
he appeared in his first feature film Neophytes and Neon Lights
(Shane T Hall Productions).
As a Vocal Coach, Darren has worked for The Australian College
of Entertainment, Australian Academy of Dramatic Art, NIDA
Music Theatre Workshops, Brent Street Studios and Sydney Vocal
Arts Centre , ED5 Performing Arts Centre, before
opening his own singing school Sing Over King and independent
record label Howling Dog Records with Linda Nagle.

Born in New Zealand, Susie's stage highlights include playing Rizzo in 'Grease', Grace Farrell in 'Annie', Sheila Franklin in 'Hair', Sue in 'A Slice of Saturday Night' and various minor roles in 'Les Miserables', 'Jesus Christ Superstar', and 'My Fair Lady'.
Susie has performed in numerous corporate shows as a Singer/Actor and has appeared on TV shows such as 'The Good Morning Show' (TVNZ), 'Facelift' and 'The Strip' - (TV3, NZ). She is a graduate of the New Zealand Radio Training School, and has worked professionally in NZ in radio and as a Voiceover artist.
Since moving to Sydney in 2005, Susie has graduated from NIDA's 'Singer Dancer Actor' musical theatre course. She has also studied, taught and performed at the Australian Theatre for Young People, appearing in 2006's 'Songs for the Numb' and 2007's 'The Bitchy and Edgy Show'.
Playing the role of Sharon Carpenter in 'The Carpenters From Kempsey' marks Susie's professional Australian stage debut. She is also working as a freelance Voiceover artist, Actor and Singer.
Lisa Adam (Sharon Carpenter)
Originally from Perth, Lisa graduated from WAAPA in 1994 with a BA in Musical Theatre. Whilst at WAAPA she performed in The Bridge, The Betrothed, Company, The Cradle will Rock, Into The Woods (Little Red Riding Hood) and Is there Life after High School?
Lisa moved to Sydney in 1995, where she became a member of the acappella cabaret quintet – Bite My Chilli, who toured extensively throughout NSW and performed festival seasons in both Adelaide and Melbourne. Other cabaret credits include The Adam Hour on the P&O Cruise Ship Fair Princess and Are You Calling Me Fat?
In 2002 Lisa understudied Caroline O’Connor in the musical Man Of La Mancha, and was fortunate enough to perform the lead role of Aldonza alongside Anthony Warlow.
Other theatre credits include the role of Laura in The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband, the “titular” role in the cult hit Debbie Does Dallas – the Musical, Pearlie in Wendy Harmers’s Pearlie in the Park, Tzeitel in Topol’s Fiddler on the Roof, and she represented UK as well as understudied Julia Zemiro in Eurobeat-Almost Eurovision.
Her film and television credits include Swinging, Water Rats, Backberner, Life Support, Cushion Kids, Raggs, Heroes Mountain and Garage Days.

Tour of Tivoli for the Australian Ballet and Sydney Dance
Company which she co-wrote and Guest Starred, The Complete
Millennium Musical ( National Tour), she played Magenta in
The Rocky Horror Show (National Tour & Singapore), Dancin
Man with David Atkins ( National Tour), Abroad With Two Men
(National Tour), which she co-wrote, Living in the Seventies
(Sydney & Melbourne), which she also co-wrote, Cho Cho
San (Playbox Tours of Australia and China), Manning Clarke’s
History of Australia – The Musical, Pirates of Penzance
(Victoria State Opera – National Tour), Stepping Out
(Gordon Frost Organisation – National Tour), Tom Foolery,
Guys and Dolls, Women Behind Bars, They’re Playing
Our Song (J.C. Williamson’s National Tour) and Reg
Livermore’s Ned Kelly.
Linda has performed with the Sydney Theatre Company in Miracle
City, The Way of the World, Gossip from the Forest, Four
Lady Bowlers in a Golden Holden, The End of the Wharf, I’m
Getting My Act Together and Taking it on the Road.
Her Revue work includes writing and performing in the acclaimed
shows The Best Bits (Glen Street Theatre) The End of the
Wharf (STC), Abroad With Two Men and A Hard Act to Swallow.
At Kinsela’s she wrote and appeared in Bitter and Silly,
The Linda Nagle Show and their inaugural Late Night Show
The Phil Styne Revue with Garry McDonald.
Her work for Film and Television includes – Follies
and Class Acts for the ABC, Hey, Hey it’s Saturday,
Midday, The Mike Walsh Show, The Bert Newton Show, Tonight
Live, Late Night Australian The Don Lane Show, Good Morning
Australia, Today, The Coca Cola Kid, and The Pirate Movie.
Linda was the support act for The Glen Miller Orchestra
and this year performed as a guest artist at The Australian
Night at the Proms.
Her work as a vocal coach and teacher includes work for
The Victorian College of the Arts, Ross Coleman’s School
of Performing Arts, and she was Head of the Singing Department
At Brent Street Studios for the past nine years.
She has been vocal coach for leading performers on The Boy
From Oz, Fame, Crazy for You, Les Miserables, Rent and Nadia
Tass’s film Amy.
